Elm Creek Play Area Entrance Graphics & Banners

The new play area at Elm Creek Park Reserve needed a way to visually connect to the parking lot below. The banners and flowing fence graphics were created to welcome visitors and lead them up the path to the play area partially hidden from view. I incorporated the same primary color scheme and ribbon and circle shapes being used throughout the play area to tie everything together and make the whole site cohesive.

The fence graphics were precisely designed to appear as a single flowing graphic even with the gaps between sections of fencing. For the banners, a sturdy, pre-dyed sunbrella canvas was chosen with screen-printed UV inks to achieve the longest life possible. To keep screen printing costs down, I came up with a pair of banner designs that could be used on each set of banners with only a minor ink wash charge to create additional color variations.
