This was a word association project for my Illustration II class. The word choose was "enthusiasm" and i related it the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, NV. At Burning Man tens of thousands of people gather in the desert to construct a city based on the principles of art, creativity, radical self reliance, radical self inclusion, gifting, immediacy and a "leave no trace" policy. This to me screams ENTHUSIAM! To show that I illustrated the Burning Man himself during the start of the burning ceremony where at the end of the festival tens of thousands of people gather to burn down the wooden man structure in a symbology that is different to everyone participating. People also burn their own individual art as well.
