These are the last three of a set of six cover illustrations for a collection of books on classic stories in English, published by Richmond. All were executed with traditional and digital techniques: a detailed graphite drawing over fine tracing paper, plus digital colour. The unusual composition of the figures and background are a consequence of leaving space for titles, text and other graphic devices. However, they produce a quite unexpected, dynamic effect.
