Engagement AnnouncementsAs some of you may know, and others of you will know in a moment, I
was recently engaged to the most wonder guy on the planet, truly the
love of my life. Lars and I were engaged December 29, 2009 in a very
personal, private proposal. It was perfect, very true to who we are, I
couldn’t have asked for more. The ring is gorgeous! The families are
thrilled!! We don’t have a date set yet, as we have the added joy of
having to start the paperwork nightmare that is the fiance immigration
visa. Once I graduate in May, I will be going to the UK for a while as
we sort out visas, but fear not, I will be back!
In celebration of this wonderful news in our lives, Lars and I have
designed a simple, whimsical announcement to send to our friends and
family. These 4″x6″ cards are just little teasers to get everyone
excited. The “I <3 Julia” and “I <3 Lars” buttons are from the
great Busy Beaver Buttons
. The cards are printed on ReBinder’s ReStock brown kraft 100% recycled 80lb card stock
.
They are limited to a run of 45 signed and numbered pieces! We are
really pleased with how they turned out, and the minimal impact on our
budget!
