OpenSkies is the inflight magazine for Emirates. Magazine is printed in more than 85,000 copies, with audience of 2,3 million passangers a month flying on Emirates. 
I was asked to do two digital polygonal portraits of Robert De Niro for 2012 January issue, including cover illustration. Second artwork portrays De Niro as Travis Bickle from "Taxi driver" movie. Issue is about movies, and UK’s best film critic Philip French talks about Robert De Niro. At the end of this gallery you can read this issue for free.

In March 2013, this cover illustration was awarded at the "world's most prestigious editorial design competition" at Society of Publication Designers, with Merit award.
