The piece consisted of a custom made table with 16 identical cakes that were adapted from Emily Dickinson's black cake recipe.
Encouraging people to interact with the work, a camera filmed them taking pieces of the cake to taste. To compliment this piece, a text screen printed on sheets of butter paper was placed next to it – visitors took one each as souvenirs or to wrap and take away cake in.
The film was then screened at the Truman Brewery, London in a re-imagining of the performance along with the cake stained table.
