In science, emergence defines the process of complex systems that are composed of their lesser parts.
Governing chaos by adhering to a predetermined set of parameters, (in this case, a rigid grid), Emergent is a statement on the way in which we perceive, assimilate, and apply information in the Modern Age. I believe that only through the passage of time, and the clarity of hindsight, can we fully interpret the larger picture of our actions, inactions, and the disparate moments that introduce chaos into our everyday lives.
Emergent places the viewer in the gray space between consequence and accountability.
