Elmwood - Brand the uninteresting

The Brief: Brand the Uninteresting.
After being given a randomly selected word I had to create a brand including the name and make it more interesting.

The Solutuon:
Scaffolding is ultimately used to make things taller or to work at height. It acts as an outer skeleton to a building, almost like a backbone. The name exo comes from the term "exoskeleton" which is an animals skeleton that holds, supports, and protects the internal structure of the animal. Like an animal or human without a skeleton or backbone we would not be stood upright.

The Brand:
The logo is created using foundry gridnik bold. The angles and structure compliment the angles and structure of both the skeleton and the scaffolding. The logo is placed vertically to represent height, and the bassline underneath acts as a line in which scaffolding must be used.
The business cards are embossed to give depth and height. The also come in a sleeve which slides out vertically representing building growth.
The brochure is embossed like the business cards, and similarly comes in a sleeve in which it slides out. pages are slightly slimmer than A4 to make them taller and thinner. Quotations, invoices and other correspondance will also be tall and thin.
Advertising: "Imagine a world without exo"
