For a typography class, we had to hand letter Ellen Lupton's Brain Shopping essay. We were allowed to do it in any style we wanted. Because I love working in grids and 3D, I really wanted to incorporate that into here. For the cover, I created a one-point perspective to create a 3D effect. Then on the inside, I wanted it to use some form of geometry. So what better way than through architecture blueprints? I reflected the blueprint style to put together all 40 tips and tricks. Finally, I drew all of my headings as slab-serifs because of my love affair with Rockwell.
