For my last exhibition in Adelaide, South Australia, I worked with the four elements of nature. Each having a special connection to me, and exploring the different mediums as I collaborated with the local artists.
These pieces were done in collaboration with Erin Lycos, ( http://erin.lykos.com.au/) a very well known potter from Australia, and it was completely an honor to have been able to work with her. She created these pieces with the Red teracotta of Australia, and worked with the traditional Pakistani forms I had shared with her...coming up with her own shapes in the end.
I painted them, with white clay in the slip technique, and we didnt want to glaze the out side just so people can actually touch and feel the texture of earth.
These pictures were taken, by the very talented Mandi Whitten, (http://www.mandiwhitten.com/)
