Initial Brief:
This was a freelancing project to produce concepts for a generic wall mounted enclosure that could accommodate a touch screen up to 4”. The enclosure should be vertically mounted, with ventilation and be easy to assemble and install.
After delivering the concepts, I decided to continue development as a personal project but under a more focused direction. Designing a control panel for home lighting systems which are an upcoming trend in home automation.

Features:
The control panel is injection molded, easy to assemble, has a projective capacitive screen, 2 possible cable entry points to use with external or hidden cabling and vents that prevent water spray from reaching the pcb. The aim was to create a product that could blend aesthetically with the majority of modern home decoration, be suitable for internal use but also have adequate IP protection for outdoor covered use.
