Electric Frankenstein Band Poster

I've noticed that the band "Electric Frankenstein" has poster art done by some of the VERY best lowbrow/horror/comic book/kustom kulture- type artists in the world, so I was extremely pleased to be asked to have a go!

I am still trying to go faster and not worry about "perfect" lines so this is a little sloppier and looser than some of my older stuff but I'm really enjoying not being so "OCD" about the inking process - and it IS going much more quickly.

Anyhow, I was just left to interpret the name "Electric Frankenstein" any way I wanted and I guess I must have started thinking of "The Brain that Wouldn't Die", "They Saved Hitler's Brain", and other severed head B-movie classics, so this is the result. I hope you like it.

ART NERD DETAILS: Inked with a Raphael 8408, #3 brush and Speedball Super Black India Ink on smooth finish Strathmore Bristol board. Coloured with Photoshop.
