My brother Tony is studying Cultural Anthropology at Oxford University. We discussed creating a blog for him so he could document his experiences while traveling the world, bouncing in and out of hostiles, and hobnobbing with religious cult members. I decided to take the opportunity to have a little fun and design him a logo once he had settled on a name.
He eventually dubbed his future blog “Eidologue” which he derived from a combination of: “Eido(s)” = Patterns of thought, and “Log + ue” = Written account of/about.
My brother described in detail how scientific research has shown that human thoughts are connected like nodes, or connected points, with every thought and/or memory being linked to the next through a continuous series of linked relationships. That explanation was the catalyst for the final design solution you see here.
