The Innovation trail aims to create a new outdoor museum based on the history and culture of the city of Preston. The circular walk will lead visitors past a series of modern and informative displays.
The life Edith Rigby, a founding member of the suffragette movement will be celebrated opposite her former home at 28 Winckley Square. Here, the railings will be cast in a likeness of her profile in reference to one of her favoured methods of campaigning for women’s rights – chaining herself to the railings.
