Edgar Typeface

Typography
Edgar is a type face inspired by the man of mystery and macabre himself, Edgar Allan Poe. Based upon type samples from the 19th century and the Sanborn Map Company, it is a geometric typeface that lends itself well as a display face. Subtle surprise elements, such as the cross bar of the lowercase "t" and the tail of the uppercase "Q", add a taste of intrigue and variety to the typeface without breaking the beautiful rhythm the characters create.
