    Job Title: UX Designer/Developer

    Role: We are looking for a user experience designer/developer in Toronto, with a secondary role as a creative technologist to help design and build prototypes for upcoming projects. This is a contract position with the potential to develop into a full-time role. A knowledge and interest in digital & web technologies, as well as a strong design background is required.

    Skills:

    • Strong concept development and graphic design ability
    • Understanding of design principles and practices
    • Proficiency in software such as Adobe CS5, UX software (Omnigraffle, Axure), and working with these in relation to the web.

    Job Title: Project Director

    Role: Strategic Partner, Business & Administrative Lead for one of our Design Teams
    - Responsible for the development of key client relationships as well as the management and delivery of all projects and deliverables for leading global brands.
    - Partner with the Executive Creative Director to oversee workflow; staffing and resourcing; development, and delivery of work; and development of brand strategy platforms.
    - Work with BMD Finance Director & Managing Director to closely monitor P&L of client accounts
    - Assist in new business efforts, including pitches & presentations, proposal writing/project formulation development, contract negotiating & formalization, as required.
    - Participate in BMD’s Senior Leadership team onoverall HR, business development & business planning, and strategic development, as required.

    Responsibilities:
    - Act as management lead running major client accounts (in partnership with the Executive Creative Director, who will act as the creative lead)
    - Act as a contributing member of the BMD Senior Leadership Team, ensuring effective and profitable operation and management of the studio
