    Job Title: Intermediate Spatial Designer                                                                                                
    Experience: min 3-5
     
    Role: 
    The Brands & Environments Team at BMD creates integrated experiences at the intersection of brands and environments. From conceptual programming, signage and wayfinding, exhibition design, retail experiences to branded corporate environments and mixed used developments.
    As a member of this team, the Spatial Designer will be responsible for developing and executing highly innovative and creative solutions for a diverse range of spatial and interdisciplinary projects and mentors junior designers from research to concept to completion.
     
    Skills:
    This individual must have:
    - A design degree (architecture, interior architecture, environmental design, industrial design, or a related field)
    - Strong architectural rendering skills
    - Strong conceptual and technical skills
    - Experience and/or interest in digital projects, graphic and motion design
    - The creative design capacity, expressed through respective education and work practice, to iterate and execute across multiple projects
    - Strategic insight, aspirational vision and commitment
    - Excellent organization skills
    - A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate concepts and ideas to design staff, leadership, and clients through written, verbal, and visual means

    - Write project pitches, contracts and work plans under the guidance of the team leads
    - Work collaboratively with team leads in project setup to identify team members, define roles, create timelines and budgets and write design briefs
    - Serve as the primary client contact for owned projects 
    - Interface regularly with clients to ensure their requirements are understood, challenged and solved
    - Ensure client retention and satisfaction by delivering projects on time and on budget, as well as addressing changing needs and resolving issues when necessary
    - Track progress, hours and schedules against the agreed project timeline and budget
