The sound emitted is dependent on speed and direction of the vehicle and therefore instantly locatable, enabling pedestrians to hear exactly witch vehicle is moving and in witch direction.
By adding artificial engine sounds to these silent-running vehicles, pedestrians are alerted that the vehicle is moving.
