The mind is a powerful thing. The mind can get sick and inflict serious damage to a person's quality of life. This body of work is quite literally, a BODY of work. My best friend is the most beautiful young woman I know, and she has a fire burning within her that makes her strong in the face of even the greatest of monsters. What she sees when she looks in the mirror is not what the rest of the world sees. This work is a study of human form designed specifically for the model. I look at her and see a beautiful woman, and by allowing her to look through my eyes, I desperately strive to communicate a powerful message.

I see your sadness, and I see your pain. I know how bad it hurts, and I don't want this anguish for you. You are beautiful, no matter what your mind tells you.
