BACKGROUND
H.H. Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, signed an agreement between The Supreme Council of Energy and the UNDP, establishing the Dubai
Carbon Center of Excellence (DCCE) which offers advisory and carbon aggregation services to facilitate the transition to a low-carbon economy. The DCCE is comprised of shareholders, namely DEWA, DUBAL, ENOC
and ISTIDAMA Carbon.
BRIEF
DCCE's new appointed CEO envisioned the need to have a new brandmark that is more up to date and stands along international brandmarks. The revamp needs to be appealing to new customers and attract new clients.
CHALLENGE
The new brandmark needs to be appealing first to the board of directors who are resistent to change. Hence, the rebrand will happen only when it gets their consent if we convince them of the value behind it.
DELIVERABLES
One of our success stories was DCCE rebrand project. Not only it was a full branding exercise but a successful approach that lead to the approval of the rebrand project from the board of directors.
