School project (2008)
This is a school project I did during my internship at Scandinavian Design Group in 2008.

Dressmann is a well known and well-established clothing brand in Norway. For over 40 years
Dressmann been offering affordable men's clothing from a growing number of outlets in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and Finland. Now it was time for a renovation of a rather outdated profile. The challenge was to attract a younger audience, without losing the many middle-aged women who finds their way to Dressmann to fill their husbands wardrobe. Dressmann also wanted to highlight an increased focus on quality.

The logo was given a more youthfull and distinctive expression. This allowed me to play with elements of the logo. Photos of glossy men in the sunshine was replaced with atmospheric photos with focus on the products. The colour palette is simple and sober in order to enhance quality. The  colours are also used for navigation in both sizes and quality levels.
