This project consisted of taking a 1950's building that had 16 apartments on each level and converting it into 8 apartments on each level while working around the existing MEP systems and structure which would remain. Each floor was completely gutted accept for the supporting structure and MEP equipment. I created several plans that consisted of corner units and interior units. Each plan was unique and gave different options for investors to consider. I also developed plans for the common space and researched the egress from within each unit to keep the project within code. The ground level consisted of the entrance lobby and retail space where I developed plans for some of the spaces.
