This series of pieces was done in the second half of my drawing media class. We learned facial proportions through portraits in magazines. I happened to grab Ford's portraits as well as a picture of Al Gore (I know he's not a president, but by golly, he got closer than I ever will). The gridding for these guys turned out pretty okay so I continued my theme of presidents throughout the rest of the semester. Done in ink and watercolor and then edited in Photoshop, my final project dealt with the attempted assassination of Teddy Roosevelt.
