O bar de um cruzeiro é um espaço onde os passageiros podem desfrutar da viagem e conviver entre si e, como tal, este espaço foi pensado tendo em conta os diferentes tipos de socialização. Visando o target deste tipo de cruzeiros fluviais foram criadas áreas destinadas a casais e zonas para grupos. Para além de se estabelecer como um local de convívio, pretendeu-se que o bar funcionasse também como espaço cultural onde se poderia assistir a concertos ou a outro tipo de espectáculos ao vivo. Esta multiplicidade de finalidades demanda alguma flexibilidade na configuração e distribuição dos equipamentos no espaço pelo que estes tiveram de obedecer a alguns requisitos, tais como o empilhamento.
A optimização dos serviços de atendimento do bar é transposta para os equipamentos sob a forma de um sistema de luzes LED no pavimento que ilumina individualmente o corpo das mesas permitindo assim aos empregados perceber quais as mesas atendidas ou quando os clientes pretendem efectuar um pedido.
As particularidades da paisagem e da cultura que caracterizam o meio envolvente foram tidas como tema para o espaço, onde os socalcos das vinhas do Douro inspiram o desenho dos seus esquipamentos que, no conjunto, geram um ambiente sóbrio, acolhedor e confortável. A harmonia com o espaço exterior foi reforçada com a introdução de uma pequena esplanada.

The bar of a cruise is an area where passengers can live together with each other and, as such, this space has been designed taking into account the different kinds of socialization. Aiming the target of this river cruises we designed areas for groups and couples. In addition to establishing itself as a living space, it was intended that the bar also worked as a cultural space where passengers could attend concerts and other live performances. This multiplicity of purposes requires some flexibility in configuration and distribution of equipment in space so they had to meet certain requirements, such as stacking.
The optimization of care services in the bar was incorporated into the equipment in the form of a LED lights system in the pavement that individually lights the acrylic bodies of the tables allowing employees to understand which are the tables answered or where customers wish to make an order or pay the bill.
The peculiarities of the landscape and culture that characterize the environment have been taken as the theme for the space, where the Douro terraced vineyards inspire the design of its equipment which as a whole generates a sober environment, cozy and comfortable. The harmony with outer space has been enhanced with the introduction of a small terrace.
