During my work at Ankama, I was sometimes asked to create logotypes for games they were developping. Dofus is one of them, a MMORPG set in an enchanting universe. The game has attracted over 41 million players worldwide.
The island of Vulkania is the summer destination for players of Dofus. This island, which opened in 2011 began to get famous and needed an identity on its own.
The logotype should be bold, impacting and convey the feeling of the players when they are on the island.

I created two versions for the logotype. The first one is a wooden panel with the dinosaur symbol inked on it. The second is a a rock in the shape of a dinosaur.
The last one was chosen and reworked. Adding some details : texture, yellow stroke, leaves from the game... And the logotype is ready to be applied on various media : Web, flyers, T-shirts... the logotype was even seen on www.jeuxvideo.com !
