The Pink Lotus
The pink lotus symbolizes the crown chakra. I have been blessed to have opened my crown chakra. This is what Jesus did when he 'received the crown'. Our crown chakra is our direct connection to The Divine, our Source. Of course, we are always connected, separation is but an illusion, but due to density and lower vibrations, many do not have as clear of a connection for divine communion and feel separate from our Source and all within our Multiverse. When we open the heart chakra, we begin to realize our union with All That Is and when we open the crown chakra, we know this full union and that we truly are ALL ONE!
This is still a work in progress. This was my learning curve in gouache paints, which I absolutely love working with. I plan to do many more! Unfortunately, I do not have a good camera available at this time and the photo is a bit blurry, not showing the detail, it doesn't do it any justice. Upon completion, I will be sure to have it scanned in for display. I am applying the finishing touches today (9.28.2011) and seeking a nice frame of which to adorn it. This piece will be going up for sale on etsy.
