Leisure reading as a whole has been declining since the 1950s, but has seen a larger drop in the last ten years. This is due to the evolution of technology, such as television, computers, and Internet; there have become other options for entertainment during our free time. Now days not only has reading declined but also changed with the amount of time we spend reading online. 

This project then become about developing this information in a way that would explain the situation of reading in our society today, to both educators and leisure readers. Using information graphics as a visual medium with small amounts of text became the best way in which to the current state of reading.
Diverted attention, the first report looks at the decline in leisure reading, and the increase in internet use. 
Change in Reading moves on from looking at decline, to looking at how reading online, such as blog, is altering our attention span and the way we take in information.
