"You may not have heard from the Junction Fae and High Park denizens for the last little while: they've been busy in their workshops and underground lairs, and most have hunkered down to sit out the long, cold Canadian winter."
We penned and illustrated the winter edition of Dispatch Ontario, which can best be described as Beatrix Potter meeting Edward Gorey with liberal dashes of Canadiana sprinkled throughout. The stories were released in instalments online, and take a peek at the vibrant, hidden world that lies in the shadows of the Junction in Toronto. This project was also a chance (and a wonderful excuse!) to explore and revel in Victorian-era type treatments, executed in a slightly more restrained fashion.
