Dyslexia is a specific difficulty in reading, writing, and spelling. It is not caused by lack of intelligence or lack of opportunity to learn. It is a unique mindset that is often gifted and productive but learns differently than other minds. The aim behind "Discover Dyslexia Campaign" is to spread awareness about dyslexia in India, thereby helping parents and teachers to understand the same better, making them aware about the facts of dyslexia and the problems faced by dyslexic children around them in school, home and peer pressure.
I designed posters, direct mailers and created a club for parents, teachers and children where they can experience dyslexic problems and make themselves aware of how to educate a dyslexic child.
This campaign also provided a range of ideas & methods which are effective in supporting children with Dyslexia. I specifically targeted India as there is very little awareness among schools and parents regarding dyslexia.
The concept behind this book is to provide information about Dyslexia to teachers & parents & a range of ideas & methods which are effictive in supporting childern with Dyslexia.
Direct mailers are designed to spread awareness about dyslexia. The mailers are consist of some of many problems faced by dyslexics in their daily life.
