I was commissioned to do a set of cover illustrations for the book series "Dinosaurs Ruled!" There were 13 in total and I had about a week to do each illustration. Due to time-constraints I only needed to complete a full color dino illustration sans background. I added simple backgrounds later to give them a finished look.
These were fun to do. I only wish I had had fewer to do so I could've concentrated and refined a few- maybe just six or so- into really well composed images. Ah well. I'm just grateful for the opportunity to get paid drawing dinosaurs.
