Dim Sum Bar is a new typology. It serves authentic Cantonese Dim Sum in a sleek setting to a new breed of patrons who seldom relate to the overtly traditional imagery of Dim Sum Restaurants. While freshness is embraced in aesthetics, there is no sacrifice on taste. Despite the modern approach to this type of cuisine, the dishes are carefully crafted with the finest ingredients by top chefs in a well-appointed kitchen. Here, the collaterals created for the eatery is a translation of this philosophy into branding concept. Through the strategy of reducing the Dim Sum steamer into a minimalised logo, it is hoped that patrons will find both the food and the visual aesthetics a memorable experience.
