DDU is the Southern hemispheres premier web series with over 1 million viewers in 2011.
Supported by an active social media strategy, tv distribution and CMS website.
I was contracted in 2011 to put together the Art direction , design/develop the website, Facebook competition and email marketing, as well as the Motion graphics.

Branding : Logo Design
The Logo was created first, a nod to the phase, 'Land of the Long white cloud'.
Motion : Storyboard
I wanted the viewer to be transitioned from a the real world into an illustrated world via the diary.
The scene featured in the animation was loosely modelled on Queenstown, New Zealand.
The narrative guides the viewer through the mini - Queenstown landscape, swooping through the scene and revealing the sponsors along the way.
