To typographically experiment a chosen twentieth century speech.
My chosen speech focused on the philosophical words of Manchester United legend, Eric Cantona.
- The speech was a metaphorical outburst aimed towards the British media who were tenacious in their coverage of the footballer during his trial following his famous kung-fu kick at a football fan.
Therefore I chose to typographically represent Cantona's speech in the format of something that related to the mass media, being a tabloid newspaper.
I focused on the visual layout of a tabloid newspaper and I screen-printed the finalised design onto blank newsprint paper.
