Hi, I'm Detroit Lions Blogger Lee Torre, I am in my 30's now, but the Detroit Lions of the 1990's are the reason why I am so passionate about this Detroit football team and stick with them whether they win or lose, I remember going to the Pontiac Silverdome and rooting on Barry Sanders, Benny Blades, Robert Porcher, Herman Moore, Chris Spielman and the rest! I loved every second of it.

Being able to see  NFL legend Barry Sanders in person with my very own two eyes is something that I'll never forgetand always has stoked a fire in me for Detroit Lions football. I remember screaming and hollering in my bedroom as I watched my little 20" TV, living and dying with every Detroit Lions win and loss.
Thankfully, they won alot of games and Barry broke alot of defenders ankle with his other-worldly moves.

The fact that I loved the Detroit Lions as a child helped me soldier through the Mill-induced "Decade of Disaster" as I like to call it. 

But moving on..... the Detroit Lions are forever the favorite son in Detroit's heart, and even though every other Detroit sports team has won more championships, the Lions remain my favorite and the team that is closest to my heart.
