A design for a bird house for a Scarlet Tanager in the style of the famous designer Ettore Scttsass
 
Ettore Scttsass has a very creative way of bringing inlarge shapes of color that winds its way though the his buildings.  He uses basic shapes and blocks of color in his designs. Thus, by taking some simple forms, he transforms the object into something that really draws ones attention
 
A striking black-winged red bird, the Scarlet Tanager is a common species of the easternforest interior. Despite its brilliant coloring it is often overlooked becauseof its rather secretive behavior and its preference for the forest canopy.  This is my design of a colorful habitat to fit a colorful creature.
