Created in my junior year at the University of Wisconsin, this project's brief asked each student to select a design artifact and explain its evolution and relevance. A research paper followed, which was eventually condensed and integrated into the final solution, an informational poster measuring three feet by two feet.
My project focused on the feminist fist, a symbol adopted by second-wave feminists that incorporated both the female biological symbol and the graphic fist historically associated with solidarity movements.
