Vinha da Defesa has new, more attractive and elegant packaging, meeting the needs of consumers looking for the latest trends and who want to experience something new.
Vinha da Defesa’s new image comes from exploring the potential of the permeographic printing process on glass. The fine lines that envelop the cylindrical part of the bottle, form the backdrop to the new "Vinha da Defesa" lettering, the vintage year and the grape varieties used in the wine. This visual territory, which is generated by the texture of the lines, is also the backdrop to all the complementary information on the rear label, with blocks of text appearing in a dynamic composition that is always different and varies according to the product in question. This perspective strategically unifies the packaging, creating a differentiated identity among the range of products, not only because of the use of colour but also due to the typographical variation. The visual effect of the lines changes as the amount of wine decreases in the bottle, suggesting an interpretation and added curiosity in relation to the bottle.
Added to this is its tactile nature, as the permeographic printing allows the application of relief in the lines to be explored, providing a contrast between the texture of the glass and the lines. The new Esporão brand tops the capsule in high-relief and distinguishes the packaging with the use of metallic colours on the capsules, with the colour of the logo and the brand varying according to the bottled product.
