Storytelling is an integral part of human nature, enabling us to understand, and find meaning in, the world around us. Through stories we can organise knowledge, share information and identify patterns and relationships between events and experiences. DECIPHER’s prototype software, Storyscope, is being developed with this in mind. Using Storyscope’s workspace and tools, museum professionals and visitors can research, develop, and present stories that connect cultural objects across diverse museum collections.
