This project was to teach us how an environment can influence a piece of text. We researched songs, speeches, and poets to find a quote to work with. Our poem was a slam poem by Steven Blue. We put it in Allen Fieldhouse surrounded by fans. This brought to question the actual camaraderie we find in Kansas University's Allen Fieldhouse- is it possible we are not as united as it seems?
