Davis & Sons are one of the largest agents in South Wales, as well as being one of the oldest. They offer quality services, for both private and commercial properties, across South Wales with Newport being their head office.
Despite their pedigree, they had a very tired brand identity and web presence. As well as simply looking tired, it didn’t function particularly well either. We wanted to emphasise that the company name was ‘Davis & Sons’, by keeping it all on one line. The ‘& Sons’ helps convey the idea of a local, family-run, friendly business that people can turn to; rather than approaching one of the much larger corporate agents that are cropping up everywhere. We wanted the new logo to reflect the approachable and personal qualities that you cannot get elsewhere.
