The Skycity Group were hosting a night with the world famous magician David Copperfield and wanted an engaging way to inform their customers of his performances. What better way than to create a mailer that was a magic trick (of sorts)?
We asked the recipient to pick a card, any card, and then to open the sleeve. Inside was the ace of spades. If the customer had chosen this card, then the trick was complete and greater illusions were promised at the performances. If they didn't choose the ace of spades, then the failure of the trick served to highlight the difference between a magic trick and the world renowned mastery of illusion that came with a David Copperfield show.
