Dancewave Rebranding

Dancewave is a dance center that inspires students to express themselves authentically through an innovative model of dance education. Their unique model combines rigorous training with artistic integrity, and access for all, in a supportive environment.

The visual inspiration for this new identity is derived from one the most iconic, local and unifying structure -
the Brooklyn Bridge. We have used this symbol and formed an identity system that represents the convergence
and divergence of people and ideas.
The Logo-mark is a mosaic like structure that exhibits a lot of movement and energy. Even though it was derived from the structure of Brooklyn Bridge visually, it ends up looking a lot different, retaining the convergence and divergence of bright colored lines. It is disruptive but beautiful. It follows no rules and has a fierce energy of it’s own. Much like a dancer himself.
Dancewave also has 4 sub-categories under which they classify all their services - 'Dancewave Learns' for all the different classes for different age groups, 'Dancewave Performs' for their events, 'Dancewave connects' for their various reach out programs and 'Dancewave Innovates' for all the new, innovative programs they come up with in the future.
