These are a few pictures of the Flagship store for Daaman, a Womens Casual clothing Brand, located at Z block DHA Lahore,Pakistan,
Design and built By Adeel Mumtaz Design Management,1600 sft, Store opened in April 2011.
The design direction was to create a homely feel, simulating a very personal and private space, usually found in walk in closets of traditional villas, rather then creating an impersonal public retail space. Although we did start off with very strong traditional elements yet,at every instance,hopelessly tried to keep it modern as well , hence the decision to adopt subtract some of the typical elements and create an abstract by the use of straight and clean lines to resolve the details; Like the solid boxy cornice and molding
