For over 150 years Duke Energy has been making life better for millions of people every day by providing electric and gas services in a sustainable way - affordable, reliable and clean.
2012 was a year of change. Duke Energy merged with another company so a new look was needed to complete the transformation.
Duke Energy currently has offices worldwide and Peru is one of them. Naturally the following year we welcomed the evolution and decided it was time to also update the character with which all Duke Energy Peru employee is identified with: DUKITO. This character was created during a contest years before as a initiative for a endomarketing project.
Now he is the exemplary employee that anyone admires for his commitment to his family, moral values and work.

CHARACTER DESIGN
The new face of Dukito was constructed based on Dukito, the contest winner's version.
The only difference is that his cheerful personality now embraces much fresher and modern graphics.
In addition to this SuperDukito was created as his alter ego that collaborates with the company´s environmental campaigns.

After having the new Dukito and Super Dukito approved, we developed 15 different new situations that would form the Dukito universe.

DUKITO SCULPT DESIGN & PRODUCTION
The success of the new image of Dukito brought the project to an unexpected level: the character as a sculptural piece. This would be used as a reward to the employee for their work.
Dukito was first constructed as shown in 3D. The final product is made of fiberglass and hand painted.
