DNA Downfall / Derelict Spaces
- DNA Downfall
Editorial Design - A series of magazine spreads I designed for SEED magazine as a student project. The client is hypothetical but the content as very real. I wrote the complete body copy of the article using research and authentic interviews.//<Redacted
The article follows the story detailed by the government’s public records (Securities and Exchange Commission) and interviews with the landlord of the Lab's building. These two disparate angles when paired together paint a clear picture of the company’s internal decay over the years leading to it's inevitable collapse.

- Derelict Spaces
Photo-Essay An extensive photo essay documenting the abandoned DNA Print Genomics Laboratory. //< RedactedThese series of photographs were composited with environmental typography ruminating on the subjective value of the space. The juxtaposition of type and image is meant to express with cold sterility the events that underwent in the space. While the magazine article deals with objective facts, the photo-essay is an exploration of my personal subjective feelings about a space that had lost it's identity.>//
