CLIENT: The Danish School of Media and Journalism
TASK: From a recommendation by our teacher my classmate Astrid Ravn Andersen and I were asked to do our school's annual report.They do 2 versions: A long and more traditional report and a shorter version with stories and accomplishments from the school and it's students. We were asked to do the second version.
Criteria: We had to use the school's font Aller Sans
SOLUTION: The Danish School of Media and Journalism wanted to show that the school is one unit though it consists of two schools - one in Copenhagen (Media) and one in Aarhus (Journalism).
DMJX has a lot to offer and many interesting creative educations where you are try out new things, test your self and get messy. We gave the school a clean cover (a new start) and a content of color and contrast and a magazine feel to it.
We tried out a lot of different layouts and ended up with this sort of messy layout of different elements scattered on the paper though carefully placed after a grid.
