  • DCCCD FAQs Redesign
    Making Customer Service More Serviceable
  • DCCCD uses an FAQs product from Right Now Technologies to facilitate customer service, and for many years the design has been an unremarkable, out-of-the-box solution. The Internet Publishing Team wants to change that. 
  • The current, out-of-the-box design with minor branding tweaks.
  • The major goals of the redesign are as follows:
    • "Brighten" the site to make it more inviting, less clinical
    • Present FAQs on the landing page based on their popularity
    • Facilitate scanning and browsing
    • Present the FAQs by category

    It has been suggested that this design, planned to be rolled out first, should inform the color palette used on the main website. 
  • The new design promotes FAQ categories for ease of scanning. Once populated, each category will display the current top 5 FAQs per category.  

    Categories are now color-coded, and each individual FAQ's "question" page will display that color-coding.
  • Proposed redesign templates.
  • Versions have explored monochromatic color schemes, black-background color schemes, bright primary color schemes, and a more refined version of a primary color scheme.
