DASH Literary Journal, Volume 3
I designed these posters for the DASH Literary Journal, an annual journal sponsored and created by the Creative Writing Club and members of a journal-making class at CSUF. The journal will release its third volume this year. In its call for submissions, the journal asks for "works of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, criticism, and art (as well as hybrid texts) that push the boundaries of short, emphatic expression." According to the journal, it "aims to communicate more with less."
For the concept, I went with the "launch" idea, and I kept the image "indie" looking as the journal is also independently published. For what it's worth, I worked with (or changed) photos that I found on www.sxc.hu (otherwise known as stock.xchng).
I subtitled this project "unofficial" because these posters have not been accepted by the journal. The location, date, and time listed are unofficial as well.

Below, I've included two posters for a DASH fundraising event. The posters are unofficial, but the information is correct. The only difference between the two, as you'll see, is the addition of the price for an "all-night happy hour wristband."
