7th Annual Breath of Life Gala Invitation Package (2010) - The gala is the signature annual event and fundraiser for the Greater New York Chapter. The tone is more business than formal and takes place during the week rather than on a weekend. Given these parameters, the design needed to be elegant yet conservative and the client likes to refresh the look each year. A logo was designed for event and and combined with a one-color design of purple accented with a gold metallic paper stock which helped save on printing costs. This theme was carried through to the save the date postcard, invitation, RSVP card, letterhead, envelopes, tickets, journal and auction booklets. The color palette carried over to the table design and flowers at the event space itself.
6th Annual Breath of Life Gala Invitation Package(2009) - The theme was a two-color design on a pearl metallic paper stock which helped save on printing costs. This theme was carried through to the save the date postcard, invitation, RSVP card, letterhead, envelopes, tickets, journal and auction booklets. The color palette carried over to the table design and flowers at the event space itself.
Movie Premier Event Invitation (2009) - This piece was to promote a movie screening to benefit the Foundation. Since this was a new type of fund-raising event it was important to convey that this wasn't the typical formal reception. The film countdown design was a way to visually convey the theme of the event. Celebration of Life Invitation Design (2009) - Pro bono design for the Young Professional's board signature event. The board had independently produced a black and white design the previous year, and wanted a fresh solution that was more uplifting and inspirational as the annual event honors a friend of the board that lost his battle to Cystic Fibrosis. The circular pattern was designed to give the feeling of connectivity while the bright yellow contrasted the branded blue color used by the Foundation. Read Less
