The Cycle Cube (CC)
The Cycle Cube (CC) is one message packed in a seven-side cube, each side represents a number or a quote related to the environment issue. Generally it’s about Recycling and how we can benefit from that.
The message: “Each ton of recycled paper can save 17trees, 1440 liters of oil, 4000 kilowatts of energy, and 26500 litersof water. This represents a 64% energy savings, a 58% water savings,and 60 pounds less of air pollution!”
The design: To make it more coherent and avoid disorder as there are 32 facets, I used 2 main color bue and green. The result turned out pretty good, no matter which side you open, the others act as decorating details. The graphics are clean, straightforward and the quotes are placed in a simple way for easy reading.CC is created by 8 throw-away wood cubes, taken from a small, local wood mill near where I live.
